District judge candidates Lorie Mason Jordan and David Hogue are set to compete in a runoff election in the November general election after neither candidate passed the 50 percent threshold of voters required to win the race outright.

Jordan and Hogue were the top two finishers in a crowded four-candidate race for the District 9, Division 1 judgeship on Tuesday that included attorney Landon Sanders and Faulkner County Attorney Phil Murphy.
