Panthers outscore Junior Jackets

The first half had Heber Springs scoring four times with the Jackets scoring three times.

Avery Bramlett, Bryce Billings, and Wyatt McCoy each had touchdowns while Bramlett and McCoy scored the 2 pointers. Heber Springs 32-24.

The second half had Mitchell McNeill scoring touchdown runs of 8 and 15 yards. McNeill threw a 75 yard TD pass to Bramlett with 21 seconds left. Hunter McHam passed to Alexander Booley for both 2 point conversions in the last half. Heber Springs 52-46.

Offensive leaders were: McNeill with 7 carries for 122 yards; McCoy 11 for 65 yards; Bramlett 12 for 63 yards; Billings 3 for 3 yards; McHam 3 carries for 25 yards and he completed 5 of 6 passes to Cooley for 71 yards; and McNeill completed 1 of 3 passes to Bramlett for the 75 yard touchdown.

Defensive leaders include: Cooley 7 tackles; Stiles Booher and McCoy 6 tackles each; Bramlett 5 tackles; Andrew Kozma 5 tackles and a fumble recovered; Billings 2 tackles and an interception; and McHam a fumble recovered.

These Jackets now have a 5-3 record overall with a 4-2 conference record.
