Junior Jackets lose to Stuttgart

The 2013 Clinton Jr High Yellow Jackets lost to the Stuttgart Ricebirds on Thursday, Oct. 10, by a score of 22-6.

The Jackets started quickly as Avery Bramlett ran for a 42-yard touchdown to give Clinton a 6-0 lead through the first quarter.

Mitchell McNeill recovered a Stuttgart fumble in the first quarter but the Ricebird offense scored on three of their next four possessions.

Defensive leaders include: Stiles Booher with 7 tackles; Wyatt McCoy and Alexander Cooley with 5 tackles each; 4 tackles for Bramlett; and 3 tackles each for Bryce Billings, Brad Amos and Jeremiah Roberson.

Offensive leaders were: Bramlett 8 carries for 53 yards plus a catch for 16 yards; McCoy 9 carries for 38 yards; McNeill 5 yards rushing plys 5 yards receiving; Billings 1 carry for 3 yards and Hunter McHam 2 for 4 passing for 21 yards.

These Jackets are now 4-2 overall with a 3-1 conference record.
