72 golfers turn out for fundraiser

Seventy-two golfers turned out for a sunny Saturday in June to play 18 holes and have lunch for a good cause at Indian Hills Country Club in Fairfield Bay.

June 8 was the date for the Ozark Health Foundation’s 10th Annual Ozark Golf Classic. Prize money was awarded to the top three finishers in three flights, and each golfer received a Simmons First National Bank Golf Shirt and a lunch that was provided by First Security Bank.

This year’s tournament raised more than $14,500 for the Ozark Health Foundation. The money will be used to purchase medical equipment and fund scholarships. For more information about the annual event, contact Tawny at (501) 745-7004 Ext. 106 or e-mail tawny.laymon@myozarkhealth.com.
