Pastor and Evelyn Baisch of Faith Lutheran Church in Fairfield Bay, in conjunction with an Action Team grant from Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, hosted a dinner at the Pizza Hut for volunteers of the Van Buren County Foods for Life in Clinton. Untold hours are spent by volunteers of this organization under the leadership of Scott and Betty Spencer. Monetary as well as food donations are welcome and are always distributed locally.

To celebrate his 7th birthday, Colton Warren asked guests to his party to bring pet food to donate to the Van Buren County Animal shelter instead of gifts for him. About 200 pounds of food was donated. Colton is the son of Darryl and Meagin Warren of Clinton.
