Hutch’s auction house near Damascus sustained some damage in last week’s storm. The site was cleaned up the next day so that last Saturday’s auction could go on. There were reports of a barn damaged near Shirley and several trees toppled during Thursday’s storm. Petit Jean Electric reported some broken poles and several downed lines, but said most customers’ power was back on within 16 hours.
