Pistole Gun and Pawn owner Jeff Pistole (left) presents a new rifle to Van Buren County Sheriff Scott Bradley to be raffled off at the fifth annual Shop with a Cop golf tournament in October. In the Shop with a Cop project underprivileged youths in the county are taken Christmas shopping by law enforcement officers. To donate or for more information about the program call the 745-2112.

London Joy Huie of Clinton was crowned the first Miss Rodeo Arkansas Sweetheart earlier this month in Conway. The pageant consists of horsemanship, personal interviews, modeling and introduction. London, 7, will spend her year representing Arkansas and PRCA Rodeo Association. London, the daughter of Cody and Amy Huie, is a first-grader at Cowsert Elementary.
