The Greer’s Ferry Lake Area (Fairfield Bay/Clinton) Alzheimer’s Walk for 2014 drew about 200 people and raised more than $15,000 on Sept. 20. Channel 11’s Sarah Fortner served as honorary chairman. Winners for most money collected and for most walkers were given a certificate. The Alzheimer’s support group meets from 2-3 p.m. every first Wednesday in Clinton at Petit Jean Electric and every third Wednesday in Fairfield Bay at Indian Rock Village.

Fairfield Bay artist Charlotte Rierson was an award winner in the 2014 Annual Arkansas League of Artist Art Show. She won second place in Landscape Category.The exhibit is located at the Butler Fine Art Building, President Clinton Avenue in Little Rock. The exhibit runs through Dec. 27.
