Sheila Violet Stagg, 89, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Sunday, June 22, 2014. She was born Feb. 8, 1925, in Reading England, to George and Violet (Warrick) Clark.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Eric Clark and Dennis Clark.
She is survived her husband of 70 years, Charles Stagg of the home; two sons, Robert Paul Stagg and wife Lisa of North Little Rock, Arkansas, and Charles Eric Stagg and wife Glenda of Clinton; three daughters, Linda Strunks and husband Merle of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Janice Anglin and husband Russell of Sheridan, Arkansas, and Mae Twehus and husband Doug of Kennewick, Washington; 12 grandchildren, Jason Stagg, Caroline Lee, John Jackson, Kim White, Matt Stagg, Natalie Tschepikow, Savannah Stagg, Allisun Golden, Samantha Smith, Madisun Harlan, Christian Anglin and Gideon Goatcher; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, Raymond Clark and wife Doreen of Reading, England; and many close friends.
Pallbearers: Ben Tschepikow, Matt Stagg, Jason Stagg, Justin Lee, Ronnie Roberson, Donnie Horton and Jim Horton.
Honorary Pallbearers: Christian Anglin, Jason Golden, Lance Smith, Jacob Harlan and Russell Anglin.
Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 p.m. and funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas, with Pastor Bill Gilmore officiating. Burial will follow in Quattlebaum Cemetery, Bee Branch, Arkansas.

Veta Jo Speer, 75, of Clinton, Arkansas, passed away Thursday, June 19, 2014. She was born March 5, 1939, in Clinton, Arkansas, to Kim D. and Augie (Fox) Holley.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Tommy Holley. She is survived by her two sons, D.J. Speer and wife Patricia of Clinton, and Kelly Speer and wife Monique of Bee Branch; nine grandchildren, Mason, Carlos, K.J., David, Caitlyn, Madison, Eli, Rhiannon, and Tristan Speer; a brother, Dale Holley of Caney, Kansas; and many close friends.

Richard Lynn Shockley of Bee Branch, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord June 21, 2014. Richard was born March 8, 1938 in Mount Vernon, Missouri, to Ivan and Maxine (Hughes) Shockley.
Richard worked at Sears Roebuck in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, for 17 years before becoming a partner in Service 4 Carwash and Capetown RV. He was a member and Past Exalted Ruler of Elks Lodge 639.
He retired to enjoy fishing on Greers Ferry Lake and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Sue (Reed) Shockley; two daughters, Cheryl (Leroy) Schenimann of Jackson, Missouri, Patty Stricklen of Bee Branch, Arkansas; two sons, Steve Shockley of Jackson, Missouri, and Terry (Aprill) Shockley of Katy, Texas. Also 10 grandchildren, Lucas and Jacob Schenimann, Aaron (fiancé Sabrina Eaves) and Logan Shockley, Brett and Josh (fiancé Holly Irwin) LaForest, and Joe, Alec, Bryce, and Julia Shockley; and 3 great-grandchildren Tyler, Fiona, and McKenzie. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A celebration of life will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, at Sugar Loaf pavilion at Greers Ferry Lake. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Richard’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Final internment will be in Shiloh Crossroads Cemetery near Greers Ferry Lake.
