Mary Edith Harrell Bryant, 83, of Clinton, Ark., Austin Community, passed away Tuesday, April 8, 2014. She was born June 27, 1930, in Anton, Texas, the first child of the late Tennie Edith Bullington Harrell and William “Slim” Harrell. She was a Christian and attended Pleasant Hill General Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Wilburn Bryant’ two sons, Ralph Bryant (Christi) and Michael Bryant (Donna); four grandchildren, Russell Bryant, Michelle Gifford, Ryan Bryant and Dana Love; five great-granddaughters, Maddy and Cadie Gifford, Madison Bryant, Ryleigh and Hadley Love; four sisters, Geneva Pearson, Doris Herron, Jean Milliken, all of Anton, Texas, and Zelda Walls of Scotland, Ark.; one brother, J.D. Harrell of Haskell, Texas; and a host of family and friends. She was preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Chism, and brother, Bob Harrell.
Pallbearers: Harold Bryant, Dan Cates, Richard Gawenis, Brett Kimbrell, Ronnie Pearson and Richard Sigler.

Cynthia Marie Hardy, 59, of Clinton, Ark., passed away on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Cynthia was born Feb. 3, 1955, in Goettinger, Germany.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Allen Hardy.
She is survived by her sons, Jason LeClaire and his wife, Gloria, with their sons Ryan, Tyler and Andrew, and Jeremiey Hardy and his fiancée, Heather Bradshaw, along with their daughter Alexis, Derrick Hardy and his wife, Ashley, with their children Maddison, Sophia and Mason. She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Miller and her husband, Gene, and their children Caleb and Jasmyn. She is also survived by her daughter, Mellisa Hardy.
Cynthia is also preceded in death by her daughter, Ericka LeClaire, who leaves behind fiancée Jodie Honeycutt and their children Kimberlee, Erik and Sevanah. She is also preceded in death by her mother, Stella Iverson; her father, Edward Iverson; and her brother, William Iverson.

Edwin “Eddie” Charles Passmore, 62, of Clinton, Ark., passed away peacefully with family at his side on Thursday, April 10, 2014, at the Ozark Health Medical Center. Ed (Eddie) was born at Marshall, Ark., on April 30, 1951, to Clifton and Helen (Ragland) Passmore.
Ed will be deeply missed by family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Passmore. He is survived by his mother, Helen Passmore of Clinton; his two daughters, Tina Jo Passmore and her husband, Rick, of Shawnee, Kansas, and Tara Ann Passmore of Paola, Kansas; his granddaughter, Dalton Dixie Lafitte of Shawnee, Kansas; grandsons Austin William Stone of Paola, Kansas, and Cruz Lee Justis of Shawnee, Kansas; his siblings include Bill Passmore and his wife, Sylvia, of Marble Falls, Texas, Pat Burkett and her husband, James, of Greenbrier, Ark., Judy Horner, and Maurice Passmore and his wife, Memory, of Clinton, Ark.; four nieces and one nephew.

Ruth Amanda Morris, 92, of Farmington, Ark., passed away April 11, 2014, at her home. She was born Aug. 1, 1921, at Leslie, Ark., the daughter of James W. and Minie Wood Ennes.
In her early years Ruth and Elbert lived in Chimes and established a family farm there. She would frequently return for several weeks at a time to visit with relatives and friends. Ruth was a longtime resident of Springdale, Ark., where she was a motel owner. She also worked as a waitress and was an outgoing people person. She frequented all the coffee shops in Springdale. She dearly loved her kids and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert Morris; four brothers, Tom, Corbett, Bill and Gene Ennes; five sisters, Pearl Fielder, Eltie Freeman, Eady Morris, Burlie Phillips, Lucille Hall. Survivors include two daughters, Betty Jo Dunn and husband Basil of Fayetteville, Ark., and Pat Boudrey and husband Jack of Farmington, Ark.; two grandchildren, Travis Boudrey and Tonya Mars and husband Gary; four great-grandchildren, Weston Mars, Steven Mars, Sydney Boudrey and Jackson Boudrey.

Jerry Allen Fry, 73, of Higden, born Dec. 22, 1940, passed away April 9, 2014.
He was preceded in death by parents, John and Clara Fry; brother, J.T. Fry; and sister, Glenda McCallister. Jerry is survived by his wife, Judith Fry. He is also survived by children, Michael (Nanner) Wade, Jennette (Brian) Tarbill, Robert Jones, Paula Baldwin, all of Rock Falls, Ill., and Shawn Fry of Higden, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Pat Fulton, Jarrell Fry, Jesse Fry, all of Illinois; and a host a nieces, nephews and other family members.
