James Elmore Bixler, age 65 of Prattville, Ala., passed away on June 9, 2013, at his residence. He was born in Rupert, Ark., on Aug. 18, 1947, the son of the late Coy Bixler and the late Juanita Hoyle Bixler Bonds. He worked in maintenance at the paper mill.
He is survived by wife, Vivian Bixler of Prattville; son Greg (Karen) Bixler of Prattville; daughter Melissa (Barry) Baker of Prattville; grandchildren Andy Baker, Ashley Baker, Tamara Bixler, Leah Bixler and Mary Beth Bixler, all of Prattville; brother Kenith Bixler of Rising Sun, Md.; brother, Manuel Bixler of Clinton, Ark; and brother Ben Bixler of Clinton.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2013, at 2 p.m. from the Memorial Chapel of Ellison-Cleckler Funeral Home with Rev. Paul Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow in the Bethany Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Verbena, Ala.
Pallbearers will be: Joey Rhea, Danny Harris, Justin Gray , David Rinehart, Dale Gifford, and David Shirley. Honorary pallbearers will be: Tim Bixler, Michael Bixler, Heath Gifford, Doug McDonald, Ron Bryant, and J.C. Breazeale.

Jerry Daniel Henderson, 73, of Fairfield Bay, Ark., finished his race June 5, 2013. He was born June 25, 1939, at Anderson County, Texas, to J.N. and Ida Elvada Henderson in Anderson County, Texas.
He is survived by his loving wife, Ruby P. (Wilson) Henderson; children Angela (Joe) Heydeman, Amy (Kirk) Gaston, and Adam (Dilliu) Henderson; grandchildren Kyle, Kati Jo, Alissa, Logan, and Brooke Heydeman, Keith, Grace and Faith Henderson; great-granddaughter Alice Heydeman; step- grandchildren Kyle Gaston and Kody (Jessica) Gaston; step-great-grandchildren, Gabriel and Rochelle Gaston; siblings twin sister Geraldine Frazee, Lucille Oglesby, and Anion (Beth) Henderson; sister-in-law Willia (Bud) Wells and brother-in-law Phill (Orajean) Wilson; also many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, and brothers Marvin, Allen, Lavoice and Elvin Henderson.
In 1967 Jerry was ordained as a deacon in the Baptist Church and remained a deacon in the Fairfield Bay Baptist Church where he was a member until his death. He was also on many committees, including being the head of the Finance Committee. Jerry proudly served his God and his country in the United States Army. God and his family were the center of his life, and God’s precious gift to him, his children and grandchildren, gave him continual great joy!
Jerry never met a stranger and genuinely loved all people. His sense of humor never left him. He was unique. When you encountered Jerry he didn’t have to tell you immediately about his Lord and Savior because his life radiated God’s love.

Joseph “Joe” Fore, 33, of Clinton, was taken home to be with the Lord Friday, May 24, 2013. He was born May 13, 1980, in Clinton, Ark., to Joseph Fore and Janet (Hoyle) McCool. Joe was a Christian who loved his Lord. He was preceded in death by grandfather, Wallace Hoyle.
Joe was a wonderful and loving husband. He was a loyal friend who always made those around him smile and was loved by all. He is survived by wife, Trista Fore; parents, Janet McCool and Joseph Fore; children, Alyssa Danielle Fore and Katie Hope Wright, son Zane Isaiah Austin; three stepchildren, DeVante Jones, David Jones and Kennedy Jones; siblings, John Fore, Charles Fore, Michael Fore, Katie McCool, and Billy McCool; and grandmother Nancy Hoyle; and a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Delfern Nathanael Hoyle, 75, of Bee Branch, Ark., went to be with the Lord, after a long illness, Wednesday, June 5, 2013. He was born Feb. 11, 1938, at Crabtree, Ark., to the late Martin Zechariah and Fannie Lee (Sanders) Hoyle.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Viola Sue (Blaney) Hoyle; two daughters, Sheila and Curtis Rose, and Patty and Tom West, also one stillborn daughter; three grandsons, Darryl and Meredith Hicks, Tommy West, and Dylan and Leanne Rose; one granddaughter, Ivy Rose; two great-grandkids, Trae and Adille McMurtrey.
