William Roger Ticer, 51, of Conway, born Feb. 11, 1961, in Selma, Ala., to father William Glen Ticer and mother Virginia Gray, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2012. After a long, courageous and brave battle with cancer, his Lord and Savior has taken Bill to his eternal home. God is faithful. Bill was a member of Pee Dee Baptist Church. He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Virgil Ticer, and his maternal grandparents, Rodgers and Mary Gray. Bill is survived by his wife, Marie Ticer; his parents, Glen Ticer of Harrison and Virginia Rodgers of Clinton; and his children, Jamie M. Ticer, Jennifer D. Ticer, and Casey Ticer. He is also survived by his brother, Robert and wife Joann Ticer; Joe T. Rodgers; and paternal grandmother, Mildred Wheeler.
Visitation was Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Pee Dee Baptist Church, Clinton. Funeral Service was 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012, at Pee Dee Baptist Church. Interment was at Clinton Cemetery in Clinton, Ark.

Jeffrey Thomas Green, age 52, of Greenbrier, Ark., passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at John McClellan Veteran’s Hospital in Little Rock. Jeff was born in Dallas, Texas, on Aug. 12, 1959, to Thomas Roy and Mayrn Estelle Bratcher Green. He joined the United States Marine Corps in May of 1978, serving until 1982. He was a rifle marksman and trained in hydraulics and aviation structure mechanics. Jeff enjoyed playing cards and spending time with family.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law Buford Lee Crawford Sr. He is survived by his sister, Betty Joyce Green Coffman and her husband Jerry of Dallas, Texas, sister Carol Ann Green Crawford of Bee Branch, Ark., brother Douglas Roy Green and wife Nancy also of Bee Branch, sister Linda Estelle Green Knopp and husband Jackie of Fairfield Bay, Ark.
Memorial services were held Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Project Restoration Church in Greenbrier, Ark. The service was officiated by Bro. Kirk Hardy. The family has requested that donations be made to the Wounded Warriors’ Project fund set up at First Service Bank in Jeff’s honor.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Arkansas Hospice and the doctors and nurses at CAVHS for the care given to Jeff and the compassion shown to his family and friends over the duration of his illness.

Robert Vernon MacAdam, 89, Gadsden, died Monday, Aug. 13, 2012. He was born in Watertown, N.Y., Aug. 24, 1922. Robert was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Preceded in death by his parents, William and Salina Mae MacAdam, brother Dick MacAdam, sister Jean Rockefeller, and wife Martha MacAdam. He is survived by his son David MacAdam, daughter Penny Smith, 10 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
