Robert E. Lee Martin, 63, of Shirley, passed away Nov. 3, 2013. He spent his life as a foreman for Structural Precast Products and serving his community as the chief of the Shirley Fire Department for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Jasper and Bea Hess Martin. Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Lula Mae Martin; sons, Robert (Bob) Martin and James (JJ) Martin of Shirley; and daughter Jessica Dawn Liles of Shirley. He is also survived by sister Jewel Perry of Florida and granddaughter Ashton Martin of Sherwood.
Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9 at Skyland Baptist Church, 20050 Hwy 263 in Fox. Brother Alan Rolen will be officiating.
In lieu of flowers make memorial contributions to the Shirley Volunteer Fire Department.

James Edward Collins, 68, of Jasonville, Ind., passed away Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013, at Sullivan Community Hospital, Sullivan, Ind. He was born Dec. 5, 1944, in Shirley, Ark., to Thomas Coleman and Murdean (Williams) Collins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; oldest brother, Coleman Collins; and a daughter, Tricia Renee Collins.
He is survived by his loving wife Patricia Ann (Howard) Collins of the home; his daughter, Lesa Marie Fritzinger; three grandsons, Gavin, Luke and Seth Fritzinger of Jasonville, Ind.; a brother, Tommy Dean Collins of Shirley; four sisters, Teri Lea Fisher of Shirley, Laquita Adams and Lily Hendrix of Clinton, Ark., and Doris Ingram of Scotland, Ark.; and multiple nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
Pallbearers: Farrell Collins, Frankie Ingram, Duane Wright, A.J. Wright, Tommy Wright and Mark Mahan.

Bobby Gene Sharp, 70, of Scotland passed from this life on Nov. 2, 2013. He was born July 2, 1943, to the late Cecil Earl and Elsie Sharp in Dumas, Ark. Bobby was a member of the Scotland Baptist Church and was retired from Forsgren Inc. in Fort Smith. He loved hunting, the outdoors, church, and more than anything, his family.
Bobby is survived by his three daughters, Cynthia Morgan, Gloria Sharp, Julia Sharp; six grandchildren, Kendall Sharp, Cassaundra Reaves, Cody Sharp, Jazmin Sharp, Colby Sharp, Shelby Owens; seven great-grandchildren; sisters Sarah White, Shirley Judkins, Linda White, Pam Simpson, Christine McConnell, Ruby Litsey, Janice Donnell; brothers Cecil Sharp, Jerry McConnell, Jim McConnell, Lonnie McConnell; and many nieces, nephews and loving friends.
He is also preceded in death by two sisters, Euala Dean Sharp, Marie McConnell; two brothers, Billy Joe McConnell, Johnny McConnell; and one grandson, Blake A. Sharp.
The family will hold a memorial service 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at Scotland Baptist Church.

Lee E. Brazell, 96, of Harrison died Nov. 2, 2013. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Harrison. He served in World War II and the Korean War. After the death of his first wife, Faye Marie Sharp, he married Jean Marie Eoff of Clinton in August 1981. She, too, preceded him in death. He is survived by sons Ronald and James Brazell; four step-children, Bill, Dan and Jim Eoff and Jan Henderson, all of Clinton; two brothers; and many grandchildren. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013, at Roller-Christeson Funeral Home, Harrison.
Carl Kenneth Gow, 98, of Leslie died Sept. 19, 2013.
