Shelle Stormoe, education coordinator for the Arkansas Historic Preservation Program, will lead a walking tour of downtown Clinton for Clinton High School students on May 5.
Stormoe will tell the students about the history of Clinton and Van Buren County while showing them the historic properties in downtown Clinton that reflect the town’s history.

The Clinton Chamber of Commerce will host a pie auction fundraiser at 6 p.m. May 13 at the Clinton High School cafeteria to benefit the Adrianne Wilbers’ Small Business Grant project. Dig out your favorite recipe and help raise funds in Adrianne’s honor to help grow and retain small business in Van Buren County. It also will be an opportunity to meet the candidates.
In another fund drive in Adrianne Bone Wilbers honor, friends and classmates are raising money to help realize Adrianne’s dream of a tennis court in Clinton. Students at Clinton currently have to travel to Fairfield Bay for practice. An account has been opened at First Service Bank.
The Love Me But Left Me animal rescue that is taking over the care of 60 dogs from the Crabtree area could use some help.
