It’s time to register for high school at South Side-Bee Branch. Classes start Aug. 20.
Registration is scheduled for 9-11 a.m. July 31 for 12-graders. Registration for 11th-graders will be 1-3 p.m. July 31.
On Aug. 1, 10th-graders will register from 9-11 a.m. while ninth-graders will register from 1-3 p.m.
The next day, Aug. 2, is set for registration for the rest of the high school students: 9-11 a.m. for eighth-graders; 6 p.m. for seventh-graders; and 1-3 p.m. for new students.
During registration, students should purchase lockers ($3) and parking permits ($5). All students driving to school must register their vehicle with the office by providing auto registration, proof of insurance and drivers license.
Seventh-graders should bring their birth certificate, Social Security card and current immunization records.
All new students must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and bring the following: birth certificate; Social Security card; current immunization records; academic records; address of previous school; proof of current mailing address; and phone number.
School starts at 7:52 a.m. Aug. 20. All students will report to the gym.
Sports physicals will be Wednesday, Aug. 15. The bus will leave at 3:15 p.m. Forms are available at the office.
Open house is set for 7 p.m. Aug. 16 in the gym. All parents are invited to attend and meet the students’ teachers.
