In a rarity, if not a first, a Bee Branch mother and two daughters will all compete in Arkansas State Fair pageants next week.

Kim Lockard Holland recently competed in the Van Buren County Fair Queen Pageant and won the title of Mrs. Van Buren County Fair Queen.

Taylor Holland also competed in the Van Buren County Fair Pageant and won the title of Teen Miss Van Buren County Fair Queen.

As if that weren’t enough crowns in the family, Kim’s younger daughter, Erin Holland, competed in the North Central Arkansas District Fair Pageant and won the title of Petite Miss North Central Arkansas District Fair Queen.

All the Holland fair queens will compete in their age groups at the Arkansas State Fair this year. Pageant competitions are held throughout the week, beginning Oct. 12 and ending Oct. 19.

Kim Holland is the daughter of Jo and Dwane Lockard of Shirley. She is married to Greg Holland.

Taylor and Erin attend South Side-Bee Branch school. There fraternal grandparents are Jim and Sherry Holland of Gravesville.
