Versatile award-winning artist Marlene Gremillion of Hot Springs Village presented a two-day watercolor workshop June 20-21 in Fairfield Bay to 16 members of the North Central Arkansas Artist League.

Participants learned techniques to paint large realistic flowers on full size sheets of 300-lb. Arches paper, as well as learned how to use camera, printers, and computer for references and enlargement of original drawings.

Participants came from Fairfield Bay, Clinton, Edgemont, Jacksonville, Shirley, Quitman, and Greers Ferry. The artists will complete their paintings and use them in local exhibits soon.
