The Clinton Fire Department is planning to host free movie nights throughout August.

Fire Chief D.L. Webb, on the department’s Facebook page, says every Friday night in August will be Fire Safety/Movie Night at the downtown fire station.

“We will show the movies outside so bring your lawn chairs and watch a free movie,” he said.

The move lineup is:

Aug. 1 - The Lego Movie

Aug. 8 - Despicable Me 2

Aug. 15 - FreeBirds

Aug. 22 - Planes

Aug. 29 - Frozen

Start time for the movies, Webb said, depends on when it gets dark.
