A Clinton man is behind bars after a two-county police chase.
Joshua Sterling, 31, was pursued by police in Cleburne County and into Van Buren County on Saturday night, March 9, according to a news release from the Van Buren County sheriff’s office.
The chase ended in the Banner Mountain area when Sterling’s vehicle ran off the road on Banner Loop Road, the news release said.
The next day, Van Buren County deputies arrested Sterling on an outstanding felony warrant. He is currently being held without bond at the county Detention Center. A probation revocation hearing for Sterling is set for April 1, according to court documents.
Agencies involved in the chase were Arkansas State Police, Greers Ferry Police and Fairfield Police, the sheriff’s office said.
