4 in Clinton face drug charges

Four Van Buren County residents has been arrested and charged with drug possession after a police investigation.

According to a news release from Cody Hiland, prosecuting attorney for the 20th Judicial District, the following people have been charged:

• Shearmalein Brewer, 37, of Clinton, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Jacoby Thomas, 29, of Clinton, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Carmen Kirkendoll, 27, of Clinton, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Sheldon Ray Poole, 43, of Clinton, possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The arrests took place Jan. 31, 2013, Hiland’s statement said.

The investigation was conducted in conjunction with the 20th Judicial District Drug Task Force and the Van Buren County sheriff’s office, the statement said.
