Utility aid available

Ozark Opportunities is offering help on electric bills to low-income households.

The Summer Regular Assistance Cooling Program began July 8, 2013, for electric assistance only. Applications will be received on a first-come, first-served basis and will continue until funds are depleted or until Sept. 30, 2013.

All applications will be required to furnish proof of income for all adult household members for the month prior to application. Other information may be requested at the time of application including proof of resources.

Hours of operation at the office at 100 Success Drive in Clinton are Mondays 8-11:30 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. Visit the website or call the office 745-2437 for income guidelines and more information.
