Gary and Eva Jo Mackey of Mount Pleasant, Mississippi, stopped by to visit his grandma Joan Allen on their way home from a Branson trip.

Visiting Dorthy and Danny Cates recently were his children and grandchildren, son Aaron and wife Cara, and Jillian and Kali Cates of Vilonia, and Jenny Wood and her husband and children, Dalton, Rylie and Jacob of Conway.

Corey Murray and Legond Wilcox visited Jimmy and Thema Murray Sunday.

Crabtree

The EH club hosts a coffee and snack gathering every Saturday, 7-10 a.m. in the Alread EH building, 21410 Highway 16 West. Free and open to the public.

An ACCDA fundraiser for building maintenance is being held at the Alread school Saturday. Hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks can be purchased from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Crabtree Reunion and Potluck is scheduled for Aug. 2, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the Foursquare Church basement. All former and current residents are invited.

Marva and RG Ward are spending the week at the Choctaw campgrounds with their grandsons, Rylan and Landon Ward.

Lauren Morse and Ben Foster just got engaged, but don’t have any wedding plans yet. Lauren is the daughter of Sindee and David Morse.

Gail Forstythe, Mandy Cody and her three children, went to Searcy to attend a “gender” party for Meagan Forsythe Self. They found out that Gail and John will soon be grandparents to a baby boy! Crystal and Ella McMahan of Center Ridge also attended the party.

Sherry and Donnie Honeycutt are camping and fishing on Buffalo Point this week, and are planning a fish fry for their

family this week end.

Margie Pounds’ visitors the past week were her daughter Jacque and husband Earnie Hennington of Hamburg and their

sons, Kyle and Caleb Hennington of Benton. Margie reports a good visit.
