Everyone did a great job with breakfast on Saturday and all seemed to enjoy visiting. Sometimes this is the only way we make time to do that. Plan on coming again on Aug. 2 and we can do it again.

The weather has been great for the gardens and the hay and I know that everyone has plenty to do every day but we hope you took some time off to enjoy the holiday.

For those of you that went to Alread for the potluck and stayed for the fireworks, we know that you had a great time with lots and lots of good food and company and where else could you see such a show? Ralph and Darlene Graham attended the 42nd National Convention of the Modern Woodman of America June 30-July 2. The convention was held in Indianapolis at the JW Marriott. Ralph got to ride in an Indy 500 race car. He won’t tell how fast he went. Darlene got to see a Van Gogh painting “Landscape at Saint-Remy 1889.” They had a great time.

I was ask again last week about the schedule for the recycling trailer. It is in the parking lot of the School cafeteria about 8 a.m. every Thursday and it leaves about 2:30 or 3 in the afternoon. It is great to see that it is being used and more people are becoming aware of being in our community. Most importantly it is being used.

Have a great week and email your news to James Burns at mailforgrandma@yahoo.com or call 501 592-3935.
