Jenny Wood and children Dalton, Rylie and Jacob of Conway visited Dorthy Cates on Tuesday. Dorthy volunteered at the museum on Wednesday.
The descendants of Doyle and Hazel Huggins Treece had a Treece family gathering on Dodd Mountain on Saturday in honor of what would have been Doyle’s hundredth birthday. About 15 attended from Missouri and about 52 local. The late John Treece, Nobe Treece, Perry Treece and Sally Allen had descendants there.
Thelma Murray visited Becky Burgess and Evelyn Kirk on Wednesday afternoon. Evelyn has broken her arm.
Sherman and Hazel Murray visited Jimmy and Thelma Murray Wednesday evening on their way to check on and visit Shady Grove Cemetery.
Norma Whaley and Thelma Murray attended the gospel singing at Botkinburg Friday night.
Doris Brown and Jerel and Kathleen Brown attended Lent services at Damascus Sunday night.
RG and Marva Ward attended the wedding of their grandson Dustin Ward and Jessica Elrod on Saturday. Scott Ward also attended and then the three of them went out to dinner in Conway.
Marva got a good report from her doctor on Tuesday, all her plusses were down! Good job, Marva.
Patsy Ward and Mary Pennington of Morganton attended the second Friday night singing at Botkinburg Baptist Church last Friday . It was very enjoyable, there were some wonderful musicians and singers.
Gail Forsythe visited with her daughter, Meagan and Jimmy Self in Searcy last week.
Marva Ward, Sindee Morse, Patsy Ward, Ashley Paladino and Lauren Morse bowled in the Tri-County tournament in Conway over the weekend.

Mary Martin (13) has finally gotten a buck, named Snowflake, for her Pinkypie. She hopes to have baby rabbits for sale by Easter.

How wonderful to have all of the sunshine and it feels like spring.
You know when it get to be warm the deer get out and roam. Well! James Burns went deer hunting in his wife’s van. She was not too happy, but now it is all right because she has a new car to ride around in. Just a warning, the deer are out so drive carefully.
We will have our first Saturday Breakfast on April 5 and as soon as breakfast is over we will move everything from the cafeteria so they can get started replacing the floor. Anyone that wants to stay and help move tables will be welcome.
We had a lot of shingles blow off of the gym and hope to get those replaced soon.
