Well it was a great Christmas and everyone is looking forward to a Happy New Year.

We had a great attendance for our Christmas Potluck when the weather finally permitted it. We had a great time and plan to do it again next year.

We will have our First Saturday Breakfast from 8-9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, and the price will still be the same. We hope to see everyone there. Just bear in mind that if we have bad weather we will have to put it off.

Now that all the snow and ice has melted and we are recovering from recent damage done from the weather ice and a devastating fire at the home of Dwain Miller on Highway 254, we look ahead to the New Year.

The center lines and fog lines have been added to the resurfaced section of 16 West. They even added the bright orange reflectors to the center line. You know, the ones that disappear promptly after the first snowplowing.
