A Back To School Bash is being held Saturday, 3-5 p.m., at the Foursquare Church. Water balloon games, sack races, hot dogs, popcorn, sno-cones and more are planned for the kids. Also, back to school supplies will be available. Then at 5 p.m., for the adults, it’s an old-fashion ice cream social with 15 choices. Everyone is invited.
Farmers and ranchers are pleased with the favorable weather conditions and expect a very good second cutting of hay. Dennis Berry said, “This is a blessing for me as my first cutting was not as bountiful as some others.”

There have been a lot of break-ins and burglaries going on. Help watch your neighbors’ property and report strangers or cars that do not belong there. Several strange cars have been seen along the roads and in driveways in the early hours of the morning. Several places have been burglarized and or vandalized.
