Free concert set in Fairfield Bay

The second annual Dinner and Concert in the Park is set for 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Lions’ Amphitheatre on Dave Creek Parkway in Fairfield Bay.

Prior to the concert, a food court will be set up at the pavilion for listeners to purchase food. Bring a blanket or lawn chair to make yourself comfortable and come enjoy an evening under the stars listening to a variety of music provided by three different groups.

The concert will feature Amy Johnson, a 17-year-old senior at Clinton High School. She plays the piano, guitar and drums. Amy plays and sings her own renditions of folk music, Indie, and a little bit of the blues. Amy is in the High School Band and the Van Buren County Community Band. Also performing will be The Sounds of Praise, a Southern gospel quartet from Fairfield Bay, and the Co mmunity Band’s Country Ensemble.

This is a free concert sponsored by Fairfield Bay Library Friends.
