Gardeners offer to dig, divide

March is the month the Van Buren County Master Gardeners start digging and dividing.

Anyone who would like the Master Gardeners to dig plants should call Eleanor at 884-3884, Dianne at 723-4045 or Verna at 884-3164.

The gardeners are especially interested in hostas and other perennials, small shrubs and trees. No orange daylilies are needed, and now is not the time to divide iris. April is the time to dig daffodils.

The plants will become part of this year’s plant sale and Fairfield Bay’s Bloomin’ in the Bay.
