The November meeting of the Iris Garden Club was held in the fabulously decorated home of Nancy Rana who hosted with her Aunt Mildred Thompson and co-hostess, Sue Williams.
A business meeting was conducted by President Rita Bintliff. She welcomed new member Joyce Aldworth after which Dana Hensley was voted in as a new member.
Lou Burgess and Danece Bowling were welcomed as guest.
Nancy Rana’s beautiful home in Heber Springs was toured by the club members and guests. Many exclamations of delight were heard from the beautifully decorated rooms.
Nancy demonstrated hints on wreath-making to the group after they had enjoyed the delicious buffet of Christmas treats. The members departed encouraged to get into the decorating mode.

The Cooperative Extension Service Family and Consumer Science agents in Faulkner, Cleburne, Van Buren and White counties will be conducting an Estate Planning seminar for farmers and homeowners. Rusty Rumley, National Agriculture Law Center at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, will discuss succession planning; non-titled property; wills and trusts; taxes and other estate planning tools. The meeting will be Dec. 10, 2012, in the Copperas Springs Baptist Church located at 366 Highway 25 in Guy. A $10 fee will be charged per person to cover meal and material expense.
