Mount Zion General Baptist Church in Morganton will hold a community Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 30. The Easter story will be told at 11 a.m. followed by an egg hunt and lunch. Everyone is welcome.
The Van Buren County Health Department will host a reception in celebration of 100 Years of Public Health from 1-3 p.m. April 5 at the office on Quality Drive in Clinton. Keynote speaker will be Dr. Gary Wheeler of the state Health Department.
The fifth annual Ride for Life is set for 9 a.m.-4 p.m. April 6, 2013, at the rodeo arena on the Clinton school grounds. There will be games, races, food and drink. Horses must be current on coggins.
