Caleb Pryor was selected Student Mental Health Advocate of the Year by board members of Arkansas Mental Health in Education, a group of educators, counselors and school-based mental health providers, at their annual conference March 7-8 in Little Rock. Caleb, a student at Clinton High School, was selected for his anti-bullying/suicide prevention video entitled “Carl’s Story,” for which he also received a National Award at EAST Conference earlier this year. Caleb received an engraved plaque and $100 award. He was recognized at the conference by Jared Cleveland, assistant commissioner of Education (right), and Deb Swink, president of the association. Caleb is the son of Kirk and Debbie Pryor.
