Master Yujin Han will hold a martial arts training class at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, at 349 Main St., Clinton, (the old Eoff Furniture building). Everyone is welcome, from beginner to advanced. The Arkansas Historic Preservation Program and the Baxter County Library will host a free Cemetery Preservation Information Workshop from 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 16, at the Donald W. Reynolds Library at 300 Library Hill in Mountain Home. The workshop will address such topics as cemetery safety, site clean-up, documentation, identifying marker types and monument cleaning techniques. The Van Buren County Cattlemen will meet Monday, Feb. 11, at Western Sizzlin in Clinton. Eat at 6 p.m., meeting at 7 p.m. The sponsor this month is Regions Bank.
There will be a Valentine’s Dance/Party for 4-H members from 5-9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at the Van Buren County Fairgrounds. Dress is casual; bring a packaged snack to share. There will be card-making and crafts, dancing, special performances by 4-H members and guests, hot dogs snacks and games.
Kickin’ Kountry will perform at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the Killebrew Theater in downtown Leslie. Admission is $5 at the door and proceeds go to the Ozark Heritage Center.
