Culpepper Cemetery has scheduled a workday to begin at 8 a.m. Saturday, April 26. Bring rakes, wheel barrows and elbow grease. If it rains, the workday will be moved to the next Saturday.
There will be a workday at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery near Alread on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Bring work tools and lunch.

Thursday, May 1, is World Day of Prayer. There will be a gathering at the flag pole at the downtown Clinton Courthouse at noon. Rain moves the event to the park pavilion.
The descendents of George Washington and Mary Jane (Hasler) Zachary Jr. will hold a family reunion beginning at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Jerusalem Community Building. Potluck will be served at noon.

The American Red Cross blood drive will be in Van Buren County from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. May 1 at Shirley High School, 201 Blue Devil Drive, and at Walmart on Highway 65 in Clinton from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. May 3.
