The Red Cross Blood Drive comes to Clinton on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Chemo Infusion Room at Ozark Health on Highway 65.
Clinton Chamber of Commerce will be conducting two ribbon cuttings for two new businesses: 11:30 a.m. Jan. 14 at Rose’s Country Fabrics, 306 Main St.; and 10 a.m. Jan. 15 at the new Cash Saver Grocery store, 129 Bone St. Everyone is welcome to share in the celebration.
The Best Care training program is offered for free for those interested in early childhood education. Sponsored by the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Offices, the 10-hour all day training will be held Feb. 8 at Petit Jean Electric. 2nd Saturday at the Killebrew Theater in downtown Leslie kicks off 2014 on Jan. 11 with Thunder Crow, which plays a mix of blues, traditional rock and country. Admission is $5 and proceeds help support the Ozark Heritage Arts Center.
