It’s time for the Third Saturday Nature Walk at South Fork Nature Center. Beginning at 9 a.m. Sept. 21, Bob Verboon and Tom Krohn will lead Animal Skulls….Frogs and Toads. They will talk about how different animals might have survived in their natural habitat, and teach how to identify several of the frogs and toads in the area by their calls. Throughout the month of September the Power House of Worship in Bee Branch is collecting coats for people of all ages in its third annual Winter Coat Drive. The coats will be distributed to the public Oct. 17-18 at the church. The coats are free to those who need them on a first come-first served basis.
